The Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is set to host the first ever Northern e-Naira Fair and unveil the USSD, billed for Kano from August 25, 2022.
This was contained in a statement signed by the MD/CEO Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultants, High Chief (Dr) Aminu Aminu Bizi, and made available to journalists in Kano.
Dr. Aminu Bizi explained that the initiative of the first ever Northern e-Naira Fair, is targeted at creating awareness of ease of doing their business using the e-Naira in all the Northern states and the entire country in general.
The CEO Bizi Mobile added that, “As I am talking to you now, there is excitement everywhere in Kano. The business owners like ShopRite, filling stations, marketers, Keke operators, vendors, meat sellers, market women and all other business owners, have been told of advantages of opening e-Naira accounts and how it can save them time and energy, while doing their businesses,” he said.
Alhaji Bizi explained that what was witnessed is the tip of an ice berg, as the main fair begins from Thursday August 25, 2022, where only e-Naira transactions would be entertained through the whole week.
He explained that the one-week Northern e-Naira Fair (NEF) is being organized by Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultants, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
He also said that, the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Emefele will chair the occasion.
Similarly, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje will be the special guest of honour, as well as other invited guests that will honour the memorable occasion.
