*I sacrificed my success for the award – Dr Aminu Bizi

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), under the able leadership of its governor, Mr. Godwin Emefele has bestowed a prestigious award on Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited as the overall cashless firm in Nigeria in promoting and creating awareness to Nigeria about CBN’s e-Naira policy.
The event was held at Eko Hotel in Lagos State.
CBN also unveiled its Digital currency (CBDC) e-Naira at the gathering.
While presenting the award at the event, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Mr. Godwin Emefiele described Bizi Mobile Company Limited as being ahead of other cashless firms in the country in terms of promoting and creating awareness to citizens about the e-Naira policy initiated by the bank.
Also in his remarks to the media shortly after receiving the award, the Chairman/CEO of Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited, Alhaji Dr. Aminu Bizi, thanked the Central Bank of Nigeria under the able leadership of Mr Godwin Emefiele, for honouring him with ‘e-Naira Most Active Partner Agent Award’.
Dr. Aminu Bizi who is also a traditional title holder of High Chief, assured that the honour would spur him to redouble efforts and also, he dedicated the award to the entire staff of his company.
He recalled that the company has been in partnership with CBN for the past ten years, especially in area of creating awareness and sensitizing Nigerians on the various programmes initiated by CBN, such as, cashless policy, POS and the recent e-Naira.
Dr. Aminu Bizi said, “I and my hardworking staff have passed through so many hurdles, so that this CBN’s initiative policy should be successful, saying I almost cut off friends, relatives but to God be the glory, the story has turned into success,” he added.
