District Head Of Lame Commends Bauchi Govt

The District Head of Lame Sarkin Yakin Bauchi, Alhaji Aliyu Yakubu Lame, has expressed  gratitude to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala  Muhammed for the award of several ongoing developmental projects in his domain,  Lame District in Toro Local Government Area,  as well as other parts of the state. 

The District Head  expressed this during an interview with journalists recently at his palace, saying that people in Lame District in particular are enjoying 90% of development in the area of ongoing roads construction.

He said they are overwhelmed by the construction of road from Magama Gumau – Rishi up to Rahama a border town with Kaduna State and ongoing road construction of gigantic road that were ignored by  previous administrations, from Gerjule up to Lame town and another road to Tama town, apart from hospitals and schools built in the area.

The traditional ruler expressed gratitude to the governor for upgrading and rebuilding the palaces of the emirs and district heads and his various interventions through the distribution of palliatives, support to the poor and the needy which eased the sufferings of the people during Ramadan fast and Sallah celebrations.

He extended gratitude and appreciation to philanthropists like Alhaji Bala Wunti, former Bauchi State Governor, Ahmadu Mu’azu, Senator Shehu Buba and other well meaning citizens that supported the people during Ramadan fast and Sallah celebrations and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.

Alhaji Aliyu further commended the governor for playing a role that is critical to rapid growth of the state, adding that he deserves a huge praise for focusing on the development of the 20 local government areas of the state. 

He called on the people in the area to always embrace peace, saying that no community or country could develop in the atmosphere of rancor and acrimony, and advised every Nigerian to at all times, deem it fit to contribute his or her quota towards the progress of the community and the nation.

He urged the youth to desist from drug abuse, crime and criminality and embrace  good morals and  be responsible for their actions, so that they will become the leaders of the country tomorrow.
