The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe yesterday, appreciated the Chief of Godo-godo Chiefdom, Rev. (Dr.) Habila Sa’idu, for the honour done to her by the conferment of a traditional title.
She commended the chief for his commitment to peace in his Chiefdom.
Dr. Hadiza Balarabe expressed this when the Chief of Godo-Godo Chiefdom, Rev.(Dr.) Habila Sa’idu, announced the conferment of the traditional title of Kallibin Godo-Godo during a courtesy visit he paid on her at Government House in Kaduna.
Speaking earlier, Rev. (Dr) Habila Sa’idu, thanked the deputy governor for presenting him with staff of office in October last year and the additional district created for the chiefdom.
He pledged continued support to the state government and its activities.
The chief also announced the conferment of Barden Kudu Godo-Godo Chiefdom on Barrister James Kanyip, Deputy Chief of Staff in the office of the Deputy Governor.
