His Royal Highness, the Shehu of Borno, Alh Dr Abubakar lbn Umar Garbai El kanemi CFR fnse has called on all Friday mosque lmams to offer special prayers/supplications tomorrow, July 21, 2023, to seek Almighty Allah’s intervention due to the delayed rainfall in Borno this year.
This was contained in a statement issued by Zanna Laisu Kazalma Secretary Borno Emirate council in Maiduguri.
According to the statement, the Shehu asked all the five daily congregation mosques in all communities to offer similar prayer/supplications to Allah for his quick intervention and forgiveness.
The Shehu of Borno also directed District and village Heads across the State towards mobilising the Muslim Umma in their respective domains to reach out to the needy, orphans and disable etc.
He further enjoined Muslim to offer sadak regularly in the community , stressing that the umma should also restraint from all forms of social vices and imbibe the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Hadith of the prophet Muhammad SAW.
Lastly, the shehu advised all parents to counsel their wards to desist from immoral behaviors, misconduct, social vices, drug abuse and also urged all traders and business operators to fear Allah in conducting their lawful business.
