Residents of Dan Rimi quarters in Fagge Local Government Area have commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for commencing the total re-construction of road from Yan babura to Rafin Malam in order to make transportation more conducive in the locality.
Most of the residents that spoke in an interview with our correspondent told New Nigerian that the said road was neglected by past administrations, but to their surprise, now Governor Ganduje has commenced the re-construction of the road which is an important project to the commuities living around the catchment area.
Sheikh Sa’idu Habibu, the Chief Imam of Ikwanil Mustapha Mosque, Layin Dan Rimi said that “We prayed for quite a long time about the re-construction of the road, but it is now that Allah answered our prayers under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje where the road work is now in progress which is fruitful to every citizen of the area”. he stated.
Sheikh Sa’idu Habibu disclosed that they would continue to organise series of prayers for Kano State Governor and all those who have a helping hand about the Dan Rimi road re-construction project and assured that the residents would also show their appreciation to the governor with more votes in the 2018 general elections.
In his remarks, the chairman, Fagge Local Government “commercial Tricycle riders association”, Malam Lawan Umar stressed that every road user is happy with the Dan Rimi road re-construction project because before the commencement of the works, the road was one of the worse in the area, adding that through good roads, transportation provides a largest share of internally generated revenue as seen in other cities.
In his comment, the ward head of Dan Rimi Alhaji Musa Sani said that there are many communities benefiting from the road, where he prayed that the road would belinked to Ungogo town in order to boost the economy of the location through transportation, and thanked the people of the area for their law abiding habits as well respects to their leaders of all categories.
Our correspondent reports that Kano State Government has also commenced the re-construction of Dogon Bene road in Rijiyar Lemo quarters so as to ease transportation in the area, where the residents also thanked governor Ganduje for his good foreseight when executing any project that would benefit his people without showing differences.
