The stakeholders of the Juma’at Mosque that was named after late Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam Kano, has inaugurated a 13-man central working committee that will oversee the day-to-day activities of the mosque.
While Inaugurating the committees which follows the court verdict approving ownership of the mosque on the February 2, 2022, the Chairman Sabuwar Gandu, Malam Ibrahim Sarki Adamu, disclosed that the committee members are expected to embark on their duties as soon as possible.
Among the names of the people appointed to serve in one of the sub committees is Alhaji Suleman Ja’afar, the Advert Manager, New Nigeria Newspapers Ltd Kaduna.
The list of the 13-man central working committee members is:
1. Amb. Yunusa Yusuf Hamza.
2. Alh. Auwal Muhd Lawan
3. Shehu Dalhatu Muhd
4. Muhd Gwadabe Yakasai
5. AbdulShakur Dabo
6. Abubakar Saad (korbit)
7. Muftahu Gandu
8. Hassan Abbas
9. Alh. Nafi’u Abdullahi
10. Adam Salisu
11. Aliyu Shuaibu Aliyu
12 .Dr. Ibrahim Muhd Gandu
13. Alh. Balarabe Ahmad Talle.
Other committees are:
Works and Security Committee, Iftar Committee Addaawa and Ittikaf,
Shura Committee, Health /Emergency Committee, that has 49 members that will work in one or the other committee.
The stakeholders prayed for the successful tenure of all 62 members of the committees.
