Constituency Intervention: Kaduna Reps Member Commissions 24Km Road Project

Member Representing Kauru Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Barrister Simon Yakubu Arabo, has charged his constituents to always cultivate the habit of protecting basic amenities provided  to them in the overall interest of the area.

The lawmaker stated this shortly after commissioning a twenty four kilometer Bakin Kogi to Kamarun Chawai road construction project under his constituency intervention programme.

Barrister Arabo said, the gesture was meant to ease transportation difficulties which has  long affected many communities who are using the road especially people of southern Chawai chiefdom.

The lawmaker who explained that, the first phase of the road is five kilomiter starting from Bakin Kogi to Kurmin Risga, also appealed to the contractor handling the project to ensure quality project and completion  as scheduled for the benefit of the people of the area.

Also commenting on the gesture,  the Chief of Chawai, Alhaji Muhammad Yahaya, commended the lawmaker Barrister Arabo for his foresight in that direction, adding that, when completed the road would touch the lives of so many communities in Kauru local goverment area.

He lamented that, ” We have suffered a lot, transporting our farm goods has always been a problem for us who depend on farming,  but today God has done it for us, we can now move our products to market without any difficulty.

“I urge other lawmakers to emulate Barrister Arabo to always put a smile on the faces of the people they represented by bringing dividend of democracy to their door steps”.
