Community HealthPractitioners (CHP) Registration Board of Nigeria, Abuja will in February 2023,  conduct operation show yourCertificates/licenses of all CHPs in Kaduna State.
Chairman of National Association of Community Health Practitioners Of Nigeria, Kaduna State Chapter,  Comrade Ibrahim Lawal Suleiman disclosed this in his welcome address   at the Refresher Training on the Use.Of Standing Orders and Code of Professional Ethics, Conduct and Ettiquettee for Zone Ii Community Health Practitioners  at Arewa House Kaduna on Monday January 24, 2022.


“At this juncture, I want to use this unique opportunity to inform you that the Community HealthPractitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, Abuja has planned to conduct operation show yourCertificates/licenses of all CHP in Kaduna State slated to hold between 7th to 12th February, 2022,” he said.
He said that is a pleasure and honour indeed to welcome all invited guests and participants@o this long awaited refresher training on the revised Standing Orders which was initially planned to hold in June, 2020, but due to the pandemic engulfed the whole world including our dear Country Nigeriathat the training was postponed. 

“It is with utmost joy and delight the State Chapter organised this important refresher training ofthe 255 Health facilities either CHO/CHEW and JCHEW on the Revised Standing Orders aiming atimproving your skills so as to develop more confidence in the way you manage the clientsconditions as you provide health services to the door steps of over 70% of the population residingand earning a living in the rural communities.
“More so, the Code of professional Conduct, Ethics and Etiquette so that to enhance professionaldiscipline and personnel development by way of:-Understanding ourselves and working together as a good family,” he added.
Comrade Suleiman said that bringing to realities the priority areas of the association as it has to do with discipline, standard setting, transparency, accountability, maintenance of professional ethics and positive attitudinal changes and working with their respective employees and other health agencies is to promote healthcare system in the interest of their communities.
“Distinguish Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, It is worthy to note that, it has become a great sourceof worry the increase of proliferation and operation of illegal School of Health Technologies inthe State, although the State Government has formed a task committee on this regards but weare therefore calling on the State Government and the Board to take all necessary measures totackle and regulate the operations of such school in the state,” he appealed.
He further pleaded with the state government for more employments of community health practitioners to bridge the existing gaps in human resource for health sector of the state as they are trained to work and serve in both urban and rural communities.
“Therefore, I am particularly grateful to Almighty God for hisprotection and mercies which He graciously granted us to be here today,” he said.
He used the opportunity to congratulate His Excellency, Mal. Nasir el-Rufa’i the Executive Governor of Kaduna State for his transformation agenda in the health industry especially being the first in the country to adopt full implementation of bringingPrimary Health Care Under one roof initiative and also his visionary leadership ofupgrading/equipping at least one Primary Healthcare Centre per ward (255) for ensuring healthneeds of our people particularly at the grassroots level are properly handled which has broughthope to the hopeless and smiles to the Community dwellers.
“Also, I want to congratulate our colleague on his well-deserved appointment as theRegistrar/CEO, CHPRBN, Abuja which has made us proud because of the integrity, reputation,commitment, hard work and above all the great value in his performance that brought him tothis position
“Let me equally express my gratitude and appreciation to the Executive Secretary, Kaduna StatePrimary Health Care Board in person of Dr Hamza Abubakar who has been so supportive for theState Chapter to achieve our desired objectives, thank you so much sir,” he said.

The chairman said that he cannot adequately conclude the address without specially recognizing and deeply appreciated invited guest presenters, state executive council and all members of NACHPNKaduna State Chapter for their support, commitment, dedication and meaningful contributionsto make this training across the three senatorial zones a success.
“Thanks for listening may Almighty God bless you all and sustain our collective efforts aimed atenhancing patient care and positive attitudinal changes for better health outcome of ourcommunities,” he concluded.
