National Chairman and former Presidential Candidate of the National Action Council (NAC) Dr Olapade Agoro has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to ask erring corrupt politicians to return stolen money and ban them from partisan politics or holding political office for ten years.
Dr Agoro who gave the advice in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan declared that this became necessary to guarantee “the peace and stability of the nation, and because the ongoing arrest and shame noise making of the corrupt evil ones may not after all provide the needed positive change”,
The NAC National Chairman pointed out that there was no doubt that the anti-corruption crusade of President Buhari “is timely and God sent and is now a settled matter of acceptance at home and abroad”.
“For a pungent solution and well timed meaningful address to our current magnitude of stealing from the nation’s treasury by the animals in human skin, it become apt to suggest that the best approach one can altruistically purvey is a Nigerian home based ‘Conciliatory Settlement Method’ of “RETURN BACK ALL YOU STOLE and BE READY TO BE BANNED for TEN YEARS from participating in politics and or holding political office,” he said.
Dr Agoro maintained that “this Conciliatory settlement method must be extended to the likes of Government Epkemupolo a.k.a Tompolo who is presently becoming totally impossible to catch up with by the law enforcement agencies”.

According to Dr Agoro, the fact is impossible to accept but is real that if Tompolo if resettled under the ‘Conciliatory Settlement Method’, the nation will definitely be on its peaceful way to weighing down the rampaging and damaging terrorism capability of the Niger-Delta Avengers and others like it”.
The NAC National Chairman lamented the failure of some states in the country to pay salaries of their workers which portend great dangers for the nation’s growing democracy thereby “playing hopeless and reckless political game with education policy of our children”.
“The truth must be clearly pointed out hereby that the workers denied their rights to wages payment for months, the children denied their rights to timely education, the citizens being exposed to lives of horror and hardship, whilst the leaders are corrupt and living in flamboyance at the expense of the citizens are only being educated, called upon and being prepared ready tools for political anarchy and upheaval the end to which no one alive today can tell,” he said.
Specifically, Dr Agoro alerted that “Nigeria is fast getting into the stage of socio-economic and political apoapsis and challenges portending disastrous marooning of possible no end return”.
“At this juncture with some state governments recklessly denying workers their rights to salary payment as at when due, allowing this to run into months of pillage; seeing governance as child play allowing children to stay away from schools with denial of duly and properly getting educated and kept busy; Playing hopeless and reckless political game with education policy of our children;  Opening and subjecting the critical mass of the people to nerve racking daily information dissemination in the media of public figures stealing to stupendous level of shame”.
