It was celebration galore as the people of Maro’a in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State came in their large numbers to witness the official commissioning ceremony of Hasbenjo Nigeria Limited, producer of Kajim table and sachet water in their community.
According to those who spoke with our reporter, they hailed the efforts of the initiator of the company for siting it in their domain, saying that they would work for its protection and progress.
They believe that similar companies would give the youth more opportunities to find places to work for a living than to be roaming around doing nothing.
Hasbenjo Nigeria Limited, the producer of Kajim table and sachet water, however, promised to process other natural resources found in Southern Kaduna in abundance for the upliftment of the people in the area.
Speaking at the official launching/commissioning of Kajim Natural Spring Table and Sachet Water, Manchok, the initiator, Mr Jacob Solomon Maiyaki, explained that the company would explore other available resources in Southern Kaduna in order to make life more meaningful to the people.
He added that apart from the table and sachet water that the company was into presently, efforts are on to introduce the processing of ginger, pawpaw, mango and other fruits that are found in abundance in the area.
He stated, “The company by the grace of God, promises to diversify in its operation in future in order to give our people the opportunity to produce in large quantities what the Almighty has blessed the area with in order to add value to the lives of our people so that they do not depend solely on government for a living.”
According to him, the idea of the water processing company came in 2014 when he started the move, thanking God for making the idea becoming a reality with the official commissioning of the full take off of the Table and Sachet water that has commenced production.
He called on the youth of Southern Kaduna to avail themselves with any opportunity to engage themselves in meaningful ventures that would take their attentions from idleness but do what will benefit their lives and the community as a whole.
He also enjoined the workers in the company to see themselves as being privileged to showcase their potentials towards greater things ahead in the company and future life.
The President, Maroa Development Association, represented by Mr Musa Truman, thanked the initiator of Hasbenjo Nigeria Limited for citing the company in Manchok and assured that the community would fully grab the opportunity of its presence to ensure it develops to greater heights.
He called on other sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna who have the resources to come up with meaningful projects that would engage the youths from idleness but use their time and potentials into things that would add value to their lives.
Others who spoke on the occasion expressed gratitude to the initiator of the company for introducing water processing company, saying that he has brought life to the people through the provision of potable water.
