Buhari Commissions Projects Executed By Katsina Govt

President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned some major projects in Katsina metropolis constructed by the state government meant for improvement of the socio economic well being of the people.

The projects commission were Kofar Kaura and Kofar Kwaya under pass, headquarters of the State Board of Internal Revenue and the re-modeled General Hospital Katsina as well as Kofar Kaura booster station of the State Water Board on Thursday January 26, 2023.

Similarly the President also commissioned the Metrological Institute of Science and Technology under Federal Ministry of Aviation and Darma Rice mills owned by the Katsina state based business mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal.

The President in company of host governor, Aminu Bello Masari also took time to inspect all sections of the projects commissioned.

Briefing the President at the commissioning of Kofar Kaura under pass, the Commissioner of Works Alhaji Tasi’u Dahiru Dandagoro said the project consists of the three inter change projects executed by Masari-led administration.

According to him, the project cost the State Government over ten point one billion naira.

At the remodeled General Hospital Katsina Commissioner of Health Engineer Yakubu Nuhu Danja conducted round the President, Governor Aminu Bello Masari and other dignitaries round to see the facilities put in place at the hospital.

On the other hand Governor Aminu Bello Masari has said that the three inter change under pass and ply-over projects were awarded at over ten point one billion naira.

Alhaji Aminu Masari said the projects located at Kofar Kaura, Kofar Kwaya and GRA round about were intended to address the problem of traffic congestion in the State capital.

President Buhari is expected to visit Funtua Inland Dry Port, the renovated Musawa General Hospital as well as some roads projects in Kafur and Danja Local Governments in the second day of the visit and later observed Friday Prayer in Daura.
