President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the formalization of appointment of Professor (Mrs) Uzoma M. Agwu as substantive Chief Medical Director (CMD) of David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital (DUFUTH), Uburu, Ebonyi State.
The appointment which is for a period of four (4) years is with effect from July 1, 2022.
A letter conveying the president’s approval and signed by the Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire was formally presented to the CMD on Thursday at the Minister’s office, at the Federal Secretariat, phase 3, Abuja to authenticate the appointment.
While congratulating her on behalf of the president, the minister expressed conviction that Professor Agwu will justify the confidence reposed on her by Mr. President in meeting the yearnings of the Nigerian people for an effective and responsive healthcare delivery system.
