Borno Network For CSOs Inaugurates New Exco

The Borno State Chairman of Network  of Civil Society Organizations, Ambassador Bulama Abiso has commended Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State for his humanitarian and developmental strides and meeting with the needs of the people, especially the vulnerable in the state.

He also pledged to carry all and sundry along on the navigation  board towards consolidating on the.syccesses and achievements recorded and strengthen the capacity of the members of the network in the discharge or execution or implementation projects and programmes in the overall interest of the people.

Abiso stated this on Saturday in his accceptance speech during his re-election as the State Chairman after the inauguration of the new state Exco that will run the affairs of the network for the next few years held at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital New  Auditorium  Maiduguri.

He assured that the SEC will continue to engage and build the capacity of member organizations to ensure productivity and sustainable development in communities.

 The chairman further pledged  to work assiduously  with the  government  and all collaborating agencies to bring back  to he of peace and center of hospitality more better that what is being obtained as a result of the over a decade insurgency.

He also appreciated  Borno State Government under the leadership of Professor Babagana Umara Zulum for working closely with the civil society in building Borno he assured the Network’s  commitment to building Borno back and better

Goodwill messages  from partners and stakeholders congratulated the network for maintaining a smooth transition and called on others to emulate same, equally assuring the new executive of their support in achieving their goals.

The event was observed  by government officials, development partners, stakeholders, and congress members the Network of Civil Society Organizations Borno State Inaugurated its newly elected executive to spearhead the affairs of the network in the next two years.

Highpoint of the election included presentation of certificates of return to the new executive by the Chairman Electoral Committee,  Dr. Mustapha Kolo and subsequently,  Barrister Sawaba guided  them on  the oath of office.
