The member representing Ezza/Ikwo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Comrade Chinedu Ogah as part of activities to mark his birthday, has doled out foodstuff, relief materials and undisclosed amount of money to prison inmates and the less privileged, urging them to be useful and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the society.
Comrade Ogah disclosed this while paying visit to motherless babies homes in Abakaliki and Afikpo Correctional Centre, old people’s home and Hausa quarters to distribute the materials and undisclosed amount of money.
While speaking at Abakaliki Correctional Centre, Afikpo, among other places, he urged them not to be discouraged about their present condition, but be assured that their future is bright, saying that there is renewed hope in Nigeria.
He used the opportunity to appreciate the incumbent governor, Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his commitment and dedication in repositioning the state, saying that the administration of Nwifuru will restore the hope of Ebonyians, both within and outside the state.
He therefore, called on Ebonyians to give him massive support in order to attract democracy dividends to all parts of the state.
