Be Good Ambassadors Of  Command, Commandant Alfadarai Charges Personnel

Officers and men of the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC) have been charged to be good ambassadors of the Command anywhere they find themselves.
The State Commandant, Usman Alfadarai gave the charge during an official presentation of four personnel who made the Command proud during the Staff Course 01/2023 due to their various outstanding performances throughout the period of the course held at the NSCDC Command and Staff College Lamingo, Jos.
A statement  by ASCI Irinoye Olufemi Abosede on behalf of the Public Relations Officer listed the graduands as Superintendent of Corps Wasiu Lawal, Deputy Superintendents of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin and Abdulsalam Oluwatoyin and Assistant Superintendent of Corps I Idowu Christiana Omotayo.
It would be recalled that the spokesperson of the Command,  Deputy Superintendent of Corps Oluwaseun Abolurin emerged as the overall best performing participant of the aforementioned course and won the overall best prize of the Commandant General, CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, OFR. 
The Lagos State commandant, who was in high spirit while addressing the management and staff, today, Monday, 21st August, 2023, at the parade ground charged, all officers and men, to be good ambassadors of the command anywhere they find themselves and keep the flag of the Corps flying.

He further affirmed that the Corps started in Lagos in 1967, which is about 56years ago, making the Command to be well experienced and better positioned, to give its best at any given time or point when duty calls. He said that personnel of the command should as a matter of fact, uphold the legacy and standard set by the PRO at the college and strive not to let the Command down in future endeavors.
In another development, the State Commandant Alfadarai unveiled the new operational vehicle dedicated, to the safe school project, which was aimed at complementing the efforts of the Commandant General, CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, OFR, in ensuring emergency response against criminal elements, who have decided to cause distress and uncertainty in our schools, and other educational institutions in the state.
The Rapid Response Squad was also set up and well trained to contend, with emerging security threats in our communities, streets, nooks and crannies, in a bid to bring security close to the people and ensure peace and tranquility in our esteemed state of excellence.
