Atiku Campaign Team Visits Emir Of Zazzau

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has paid  homage  on the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli in his palace on Saturday.

Atiku Abubakar said the visit was to seek royal blessings and intimate him on his outing in Kaduna State.

He said the visit here is a homecoming, but it has been a tradition in their campaign programme to seek for the blessings, advice and guidance of the royal fathers.

“I’m also here to congratulate and rejoice with you on the conferment of national honour given to you by the president,” he said.

The PDP Presidential candidate also said, the visit has given him hope, boost and strengthened his campaign activities, geared towards national unity and development.

While in Kaduna, he is billed to visit Kaduna city and Kafanchan as well as attend an interactive session with presidential candidates organized by Arewa joint committee in Kaduna.

Earlier, the Director General of the Atiku campaign team and Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, said as the party commenced its political activities which needs and requires blessings from traditional leaders, hence the visit.

Tambuwal said they are hoping to receive guidance and prayers to enable them succeed in their campaign activities.

Responding, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli advised politicians to play by the rules of the game and avoid comments and utterances that may jeopardize  national unity during their campaign.
