Arewa Youth Assembly Hails Governor Hope Uzodinma On Re-election

The Arewa Youths Assembly (AYA), has suggested  that anyone that feels dissatisfied with the election outcome of Imo State is encouraged to pursue legal means by approaching the court for redress.

The forum said it stands against fomenting trouble or engaging in any activities that may disrupt the peace and harmony of the state, saying that peaceful resolution through legal channels is vital for the stability and prosperity of our country.

A statement issued on Monday by its Speaker, Mohammed Salihu Danlami, said, “The Arewa Youths Assembly extends warm congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodinma, on his well-deserved re-election victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial elections. We acknowledge that this triumph is a result of Governor Uzodinma’s commendable achievements over the past four years.”

The Youths Assembly hails all individuals and organizations whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the gubernatorial elections, ensuring a free, fair, and transparent process and thanked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, observers, and the electorates for their dedication and commitment to upholding the democratic values of the nation.

The youths congratulated Governor Hope Uzodinma, on his well-deserved re-election victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial elections and acknowledged that this triumph is a result of his achievements over the past four years in the state.  

According to the statement, “Governor Uzodinma’s dedication and commitment to the progress of Imo State and Nigeria at large have been evident in the transformative initiatives he has implemented during his first term. We believe that his re-election serves as a testament to his leadership qualities and the positive impact he has had on the state. He is the first governor to win all the Local Governments in his state. It is evident that he is leading Imo without any form of segregation, hence, his uniform acceptability across the state.

“Furthermore, the Arewa Youths Assembly would like to call upon all other candidates who contested the election to put aside their differences and unite in support of Governor Uzodinma’s leadership. It is crucial to prioritize the progress and development of Imo State, and by supporting the re-elected Governor, we can collectively work towards achieving this goal.

“However, where anyone feels dissatisfied with the election outcome we encourage them to pursue legal means by approaching the Court. We stand against fomenting trouble or engaging in any activities that may disrupt the peace and harmony of our beloved state. Peaceful resolution through legal channels is vital for the stability and prosperity of our country.

“The Youths Assembly commends all individuals and organizations whose efforts contributed to the successful conduct of the gubernatorial elections, ensuring a free, fair, and transparent process. We extend our appreciation to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, observers, and the electorates for their dedication and commitment to upholding the democratic values of our nation.”
