Nigeria’s rulling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been blamed for the divisiveness of Nigerians across religious and tribal lines, the backwardness in the economy, high level terrorism and banditry and corruption.

This was the position of former Kaduna Deputy Governor and People’s Democratic (PDP)   stalwart, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga.

Speaking to newsmen in Kaduna on Friday, the Ex-Ambassador said

‘I don’t think APC has the right to raise their heads and say anything, they have divided us and taken many years back. APC has worsened everything.’

Bajoga noted that,  “PDP had its own problems and APC thought it could correct those problems. It came and promised Nigerians that these problems will be no more. Even gave time limit. If we are in power there will be electricity in 6 months, terrorism will end. And so the people voted them. And unfortunately, after seven years those problems are still there and they’re still looking back to PDP saying they are  the originators of those problems. When you look at the two governments, now we know where the problem is. Cast your mind back to 2015 when PDP left power and compare it to today are we better off? You are the better judge. Are we better off in terms of insecurity, economy and corruption?” He queried.

He criticized the placeholder concept of the rulling APC stressing that,  “the government that cannot choose a running mate. Imagine the Presidential aspirant telling the whole world that it has been his life ambition to be a president of this country and all these years he doesn’t know who will be his running mate or the criteria for choosing a running mate and you want people to believe you that you can rule this country,” he said.
