The camaraderie and esprit de corps of the military, whether serving or retired, is unprecedented.
This was further reinforced when after attending the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the new Olubadan, a prominent traditional ruler and a senior retired military officer, Rear Admiral Lateef Akintola Mogaji Balogun of Ibikunle family, hosted His Excellency, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai (rtd) to a dinner at his palace in Ibadan.
Present at the occasion and part of the entourage were two former Force Commanders of Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Lieutenant General L.O. Adeosun (rtd), Major General I.I. Abba (rtd), Commodore Mathew Teidi (rtd), President of 29 NDA RC Foundation, Rear Admiral James Adeyinka Akinwale and former Chief of Policy and Plans, at the Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral M.M. Salami, Mogaji Addini.
Also present were former Chief of Administration at the Defence Headquarters, Alhaji Mohammed Malawi, a Director at the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Alhaji Manzo Ahmed and Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka (rtd) mni.
