(APC) Chieftain in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao on Wednesday said the late former governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala is a personal loss to him, the people of Ogbomoso land and Oyo State in general.
The APC Chieftain during his visit to the family of the late governor at his Akala’s Opadoyin Villa in Ogbomoso, to commiserate with the family of the late former governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala also described the late former governor as a different breed .
Engineer Alao emphasized that there is no doubt in the fact that Otunba Alao-Akala’s death was a personal loss to him, the people of Ogbomoso land and Oyo State in general.
Stressing that the death of the former governor of Oyo state stands as a great loss recalled how he met the former governor in 2018 and how their relationship grew stronger since then.
“When I recall how I got to know Governor Akala in 2018 during my 2019 Gubernatorial Campaign in the Alliance for Democracy (AD) and how we have grown in father and son relationship since then, I can’t but appreciate God for a life well spent by him”, he said.
The APC Chieftain added, “Otunba Akala was a man you can’t regret knowing. I pray the Lord Almighty continue to bless his soul and protect the family”.
One of the wives of the former governor, Chief (Mrs) ‘Kemi Alao-Akala on behalf of the Alao Akala family, declared that the former governor lived a fulfilled life going by the visit of prominent Nigerians across the country is a testimony of his generosity and large heart.
The APC Chieftain was accompanied during the visit by leaders and stakeholders of APC in the five local government areas in Ogbomoso land.
