Akeredolu Legacy Will Stand As  Example In Our Pursuit Of Progress – ALGON Boss

The immediate past Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye has said the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) was painful and sad.

Prince Abass Alesinloye stated this in a message to commiserate  the family of the late Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu and Ondo State government over the passage of the governor.

According to the former ALGON Chairman, the late Akeredolu was an illustrious son of Ondo State whose phenomenal contributions to his state and country will never be forgotten.

Prince Abass Alesinloye acknowledged late Akeredolu’s selfless service and immeasurable contributions to the nation building especially his legacies in Ondo State where he served meritoriously as a governor.

“I had a very cordial and fruitful relationship with Arakunrin Akeredolu. In all my dealings with him,he was very humble and unassuming. I came across a passionate man who had a burning passion for the country”, he said 

The former ALGON Chairman added “During his time, he was very committed to the development of the State.He was an activist who became a governor and a governor who always remained an activist. His legacy will stand as an example to all of us to persist in our pursuit of progress”.

He maintained that Ondo state would sorely miss Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu whom he described as a selfless, fearless and consistent politician whose impact in security birthed the South-West Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun and Ondo State in general to the high pedestal of development.

“As we mourn his passage, may Almighty God grant his family, friends, constituents and associates the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said, while praying that God should grant his soul eternal repose”.
