Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has been commended for the role he played in raising funds in order to assist flood victims which is a good service to humanity.
This was contained in a commendation message that was issued to our correspondent by the chairman of the Jigawa State chapter of the All Farmers Association (AFAN), Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa in Dutse.
Mai Unguwa said that All Farmers Association, Jigawa State chapter is happy with what governor Badaru has done to assist those affected by the flooding that claimed lives, houses and farm produce in so many parts of the state.
He thanked all those who donated in cash and kind during the fund raising where over one billion Naira was realized, adding that the Jigawa State Government would do everything possible to ensure that those who were affected get a helping hand without bias.
