As the primaries of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), kicks off in preparation for 2023 elections, 14 serving members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly have successfully secured tickets to fly the party’s flag for the State Assembly election.
The members secured their tickets on Sunday at the party’s primary elections held in all the 21 local government areas across the state.
Those who secured the tickets are the deputy speaker and 13 others.
New Nigeria reports that the Speaker, Aminu Abbas Iya, the majority leader Hammatukur Yetusrri, are not going back to the House as they are vying for a place at the National Assembly.
While the members representing Song Constituency did not seek for re-election and that of Michika Constituency recently decamped from PDP.
