An All Progressives Congress (APC) group has drawn the attention of the national secretariat of the party, insisting that urgent action must be taken to have a lasting solution to the Yola South Local Government of Adamawa State  Congress.
According to them, timely action to address the situation becomes very necessary as the gross irregularities by some members of the party who allegedly tampered with the Yola South Local Government congress results is grievous and may lead to internal party anarchy.
The coalition of the APC Youths, Adamawa State said  urgent steps must be taken to avert the looming danger coming like a whirlwind to put the party in shambles.
It would be recalled that the group under the leadership of Alhaji Halilu MB Sajo (Khaleel) in a letter earlier addressed to his Excellency, Mai-Mala Buni, notifying him through a petition of alleged tampering with the results of the last Yola South LGA party Congress by some party men is causing serious internal party disharmony.
The group however, said that it is calling on the attention of the national leaders as concerned party loyalists, whose interest is fair play to all party members and unity of purpose to face the 2023 election.
Sajo said it is expedient for  quick action to resolve the Yola South LGA party irregularities or else the party will be doomed for failure  in 2023.
He revealed that the repercussions of the negligence in addressing the issue will probably lead to the end of APC in Adamawa State and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will continue to rule for  as many years as they can.
According to him, “a petition was sent to Professor Daniel F. Atidoga, Appeal committee chairman who requested that all complaints be channeled to his designated Whatsapp number and email address (07049342043, dr.atidoga@gmail.com) since then, he has not acknowledged received or an action was taken in the said complaints.”
Khaleel said they have a genuine complaint against the elected Youth Leader of the state APC, who is above forty years old and nothing also has been done to address the issue.
Adding up to their complaints are that of Honourable Usman Isa Manujo and Mohammed Bello Aminu who were respectively elected Chairman and Secretary of Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State, but were excluded from participating during the last state congress.
The group therefore, as a matter of urgency, called on the attention of the national office of the party to treat the petition channeled to them and received on the 20th October 2021 at the national office of the party in Abuja.
