ABU  To Hold  43rd Convocation Ceremony January 27

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria’s,  43rd convocation  ceremony will hold between January 26 and  27, 2024.

In a statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs Directorate, Auwalu Umar,  made available to New Nigeria on Wednesday in Zaria, said the pre-convocation lecture, scheduled for January 26, 2024, with the title, ‘Set Forth in Confidence and with Haste,’ will be delivered by a former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke.

The lecture, chaired by Suleiman Ndanusa, the former Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), is expected to attract significant personalities from across the country and beyond.

The statement indicated that the awards ceremony for degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and honorary degrees will take place at the university’s main campus in Samaru on January, 2024.

According to the statement, the visitor to the University, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be the Special Guest, while the Chief Host will be the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani. 

The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Bamalli, will be the royal father of the day.

“The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kabiru Bala, invites all graduands, parents, guardians, and public members to attend the convocation ceremony,” the statement said.
