The monitoring and evaluation committee of the Kano State Polytechnic has been commended for their determination to ensure that only quality projects are being executed under their watch.
This was expressed by the Rector, Associate Professor Kabir Bello Dungurawa when he led the committee on an inspection tour to Gwamai Town in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area on Friday.
Dungurawa reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring that quality projects are executed at all the places under the Kano State Polytechnic, to enable the forthcoming younger generations benefit from the giant strides like what is being witnessed at Kano State Polytechnic.
He commended the contractor for keeping his promises on how the construction works is going successfully and in accordance with the agreement earlier reached for the projects.
He reassured that from what is been seen, the works would be completed as scheduled.
In his remarks, one of the works overseers, Malam Idris Mohammed disclosed that the work at Gwamai Town is going very well and the regular visitation by the Rector accompanied by the projects monitoring committee has been one of the reasons that are making the projects speedy.
“We thank the Rector for being very active in visiting the project sites at Gwamai Town and the inspection tour makes us feel great and honoured by the authority concerned like what we enjoy from the monitoring committee.
Our correspondent who was at the inspection tour, had chats with some residents at Gwamai, where they commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Commissioner for Higher Education, Hajiya Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure and the rector, Associate Professor Kabir Bello Dungurawa for keeping the educational flag flying high in Kano State.
