Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on Monday congratulated the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on his 81 birthday anniversary describing him as a ” father of Nigeria and one of the stabilizing forces worldwide”.
Senator Omisore stated this in a congratulatory message to the former President on his birthday anniversary personaly signed by him and made available to newsmen by his Media team.
According to Senator Omisore, the former President has continue to prove himself as ” a reputable International ambassador. father of Nigeria and one of the stabilizing forces sustaining the reigning peaceful co existence among Nigerians .”
“I am using this time to congratulate our Baba, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo on his 81st year birthday celebration. No doubt, Baba has contributed and is still contributing immensely to the growth and development of Nigeria as a country, Africa as a continent and the world. Chief Obasanjo stands out as a leading figure in the sustainanance of peace,unity and stability of Nigeria as well as other countries in the whole of Africa continent.” he said.
The former deputy governor added that “Chief Obasanjo is a pure detrabilize Nigerian who has on many occasions demonstrated his love for the oneness of the country by always seen Nigeria as one and indivisible entity through his actions, words and belief.”
He maintained that ” former President Obasanjo as an International figure despite his age
has been playing tremendous roles in preaching, sustaining as well as entrenching peace and good governance in and across the world.”
