The Chairman, Senate Committee on INEC and Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Alli has congratulated the Oyo State Deputy Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) , Alhaji Olayide Abas on his 74th birthday.
In a statement on Wednesday signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District lauded Alhaji Abas for his astute administrative skills, respected community leadership, and principled political activism.
Senator Alli emphasized described Alhaji Abas as a politician who uses his political influence to bring real change and development to his community, adding that ” such endeared him to many across the state”.
” As he marks this milestone age, it is worth looking back at the distinguished career and contributions he has made to the political landscape of Oyo State over the years”, he said.
The APC Senator added, ” Over the years, Alhaji Olayide Abas has played a key role in shaping the political fortunes of Oyo State. His contributions to the development of our state and country are immeasurable”.
