*Sinach, Mercy Atang, Aity Dennis, Ronke Adesokan, Buchi to thrill audience

Acclaimed gospel artists, Sinach, Mercy Atang, Aity Dennis, Ronke Adesokan and Buchi among others are billed to thrill over 40,000 audience at Akwa Ibom Christmas Carols Festival 2022.
Planned to hold on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Ibom Hall Arena in Uyo, is the 13th edition of the festival with a theme “Go Forward: And the Lord said to Moses, why do you cry to me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward” Exodus 14 verse 15.
The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Public Affairs, Mr. Raphael Edem while conducting journalists round the venue of the event, said over 5,000 choral groups will deliver inspiring messages through songs in tune with the Christmas season.
Edem said that the 13th edition, which will be the last of Governor Udom Emmanuel eight years’ tenure in office, is planned to be the best so far in the State.
With collaboration with some corporate organisations already secured with the state government, Governor Emmanuel Aide said, ” the event is hoped to be a time welll spent as the heavens will be brought down.
It is going to be for spiritual tourism, that will in another hand, boost the states economy, besides putting put it on the global map” . He stated.
According to Mr Edem, adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure safety of the people in and around the event, just as 15 exit routes have been created to ease exit after the event which will have A Senior Pastor of the Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyomi preaching..
