Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Commissioner in Bauchi State, Hon. Abdulrazaz Nuhu Zaki has appealed to Nigerians generally, particularly the electorates to ensure that they did not vote APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom, he described as incapable, based on his  age, to steer the ship of Nigerian state.

He noted with concerns that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer has passed  80 years, who surpasses the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari in terms of age and whose low performance in the last seven years put the country in disadvantaged side in every sector of the economy.

The commissioner who was speaking to journalists on the 2023 general elections in Bauchi  on Thursday, wondered how,  “such an APC walking stick presidential candidate, the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu already  who has  outlived his usefulness could tailor the needs and aspirations of Nigerians.

Zaki recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had during his electioneering campaigns in 2015 usually used the Hausa slogan ‘Jiki Magayi’ meaning that your body will communicate you about situations, as Nigerians are today feeling the negative impact of the APC-led government, hence Tinubu’s leadership could be the worst in the country.

Hon.Zaki therefore advised the Nigerian electorates to rally round the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), its presidential flagbearer and Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar who had eight years’ governance experience at the national level, a versatile politician and business guru.

On Bauchi gubernatorial elections next year, commissioner zaki warned electorate to beware of the idles of retired security officer whom, he observed, is inexperienced in partisan politics, as well as democratic norms and values, hence his election could either be a jeopardy or multiply catastrophes.

He expressed optimism that Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed would sweep the polls comes 2023 general elections and usher into his second term in office describing the APC with the Hausa dictum which says, ‘Tarin tsintsiya babu shara’ meaning, a collection of brooms that could hardly be sweeping.

On the planned expansion of the Bauchi central market by the PDP-led administration in the state, the commissioner explained that the project is to be executed through public private partnership, saying however that undertaking such project during raining season usually runs into lost to a contractor.

The commissioner also expressed confidence that with the massive cross-carpeting of notable politicians from the APC to the PDP, the stage is set for the ruling party in the state to emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.
