2023 Polls: We Will Deliver 2m Votes For Tinubu, Folarin – Group

A political group, City Boy Movement, Oyo State chapter on Thursday, vowed to deliver two million votes for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Teslim Folarin in the 2023 general elections.

The group in a statement made available to journalists by its Coordinator in Oyo State, Tomiwa Alli, said there will be no going back in its mobilization for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates.

According to the Coordinator, the group will go all out to mobilize the state’s youth population with a view to delivering not less two million votes to the APC candidates in the February, 2023 residential and governorship polls.

“Cityboy movement is a national platform with a very strong representation in Oyo State. We are mobilizing all the supporters of Tinubu and Folarin to see how we can give them the manifesto of Asiwaju”, he said.

Alli added, ” the movement would contribute to Tinubu/Folarin’s ticket at the polls. We’ll work to ensure that we mobilize at least two million votes from the youth population across Oyo State.”

He however added that coordinators have been appointed for all the 33 local governments in the state for City Boy to have a smooth operation that will spread to the nooks and crannies of the state while a date for the official flagging off will be announced very soon.

“In Oyo state, I have over 25,000 members across the 33 Local Government, We also have matrons and patrons as City boy Ambassadors, and the following people are the coordinators that we have appointed for each LG: Adebare Adeoti for Iseyin, Abdulrazaq Yakubu for Ogbomoso North, Bashiru Ismail Abiona, for Ibadan North East, Leteef Abidemi Oladeji for Ibadan North west, Hon Adeniyi Malik Alaga for Oluyole while Hon Ojuwoni Abayomi Alidu for Lagelu LG. Teslim Aliu, Afijio.

“Others include, Usman Isiaka for Ibadan South West, Adetona Kehinde Balaro for Ibadan South East, Abass Akeem Adekola for Egbeda, Adisa Timothy Adeoye for Surulere, Atere Hamidu for Orelope/Igboho,  Badmus Sodiq Aare for Akinyele, Adeleke Munirudeen, for Saki East, Abdazeez Musah, Saki West, Ajayi Tosin Matthew, Ibadan North, Shehu Agoro, Itesiwaju,  Adeleke Toheeb, Oyo East, Akangbe Isau, Oyo West, Taiwo Atiba for Atiba, Adeshina Adeyemo, Ibarapa Central, Adebayo Yusuf, Ona-Ara, Babalola Oladele, Ibarapa North and Ajadi Isaac for Orire LG”.
