*says Makinde will soon end his current stance of not willing to work for ex VP

Former Minister of Mines and Steel Development and a Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) leader in Oyo State, Elder Wole Oyelese on Monday, said that the party in the state will soon speak with one voice on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The PDP leader in Oyo State in a statement in Ibadan, also disclosed that Gov Seyi Makinde will soon put an end to his current stance of not willing to work for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
Elder Oyelese cautioned those he said, want to take advantage of the current happenings in the party to cause more division among the party members and leaders, saying, it is unfortunate that some mischievous individuals are taking the advantage of the situation to peddle falsehood to worsen the situation.
” I want to appeal to the praise singers surrounding the governor but who cannot say the truth when the need arises to desist from their slavish and destructive activities as it is not in the best interest of either the governor, the party or the candidates of our party for the different elective offices”, he said.
The PDP leader added, ” the people of Oyo state are eagerly waiting for the PDP to remain in power and we cannot afford to let them down”.
“It has come to our notice that some mischievous individuals are taking advantage of the frosty relationship between Elder Oyelese and the governor to peddle falsehood calculated to generate bad blood in the party”.
He stressed that he sincerely believes that Gov Seyi Makinde will soon put an end to his current stance of not willing to work for our party’s presidential flag bearer Alhaji Atiku Abubakar unless certain conditions are met as it is not in anybody’s best interest.
Elder Oyelese maintained that Gov Makinde might have disappointed him by gullibly following Governor Wike without considering when to part ways with him politically in his own political interest, adding that “he nonetheless harbours no bitterness against him.”
The PDP leader maintained that there is no deep animosity between the members of the party, he advised mischief makers to find work to do.
