2023: PDP Fumes As  Govt Denies Atiku Katsina Township Stadium Campaign Venue

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be in Katsina on December 20, 2022 for Campaign rally, but was denied to hold his rally at the Katsina Township main stadium popularly known as “Karkanda”.

Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council Senator Umaru Tsauri and the Director General Atiku and Lado Campaign Council in Katsina State, Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa jointly disclosed this at a Press Conference in Katsina and expressed disappointment to Katsina state Government for not allowing PDP to hold its rally in the main stadium but rather directed to do it either at the old stadium or at Polo ground pitch in the Metropolis.

Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa said on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the PDP, Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would arrive Umaru Musa Yar’adu International Airport by 9:00am in the morning then to pay homage to the Mother of late Shehu Musa Yar’adu and late President Umaru Musa Yar’adu, Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’adu at Yar’adu Quarters in Katsina metropolis after which he visit the Emir’s Palace and then to the Campaign ground known as “Filin Polo.”

Dr Mohammed Inuwa explained that, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would be expected after the rally to open his Campaign office along Mani road in the Metropolis from where he would proceed to Daura.

Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa emphasized that, it would expanded that, there’ll over four thousands vehicles would be in Katsina town hence the need for prayers for peaceful rally in Katsina.

Those at the briefing include,  the Gubernatorial Candidate of the PDP, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke, his Deputy Architect Ahmed Aminu Yar’adu, former Minister of Solid Mineral, Architect Musa Sada Mani, Alhaji Lamis Dikko and Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (Rtd) amongst others.

Meanwile, late Sunday night, Governor Aminu Masari on arrival to Katsina, gave the approval for the rally to go on at the stadium.
