A leading All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon Adenike Harriet Afolabi-Oshatimehin has solicited for support of party’s stakeholders ahead of primary election for 2023 general elections.
Oshatimehin, a former commissioner in Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration, made this call on Sunday during a meeting with APC stakeholders from 18 wards across Ifelodun local government of Kwara State.
She said: “I am here to solicit for your support to represent Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives. I also want to appreciate you for pushing me forward to serve as Commissioner under His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. The Governor gave me the privilege to serve in four different Ministries within three years and I didn’t disappoint Ifelodun local government area.”
“I believe we can do alot together when we are united. We will secure the House of Representatives seat in Ifelodun local government and deliver bulk votes for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.”
The Ora born politician noted that Governor Abdulrazaq has done a lot to deserve second term, especially in areas of infrastructural development and social security for the vulnerable people through KWASSIP.
Party leaders including APC Ifelodun Local Government Chairman, TIC Chairman of the council, who spoke during the meeting described Hon Adenike Oshatimehin as a worthy ambassador of the local government, noting that She will deliver more dividends of democracy when elected into House of Representatives.
APC stakeholders in attendance include 18 ward chairmen, ward Secretaries, youth leaders and women leaders as well as two stakeholders from every ward.
