*Says he is a bold, courageous leader

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin has disclosed that Nigeria presently need Asiwaju BolaTinubu as the next President.
Senator Folarin who made this known on Tuesday while speaking at a Town Hall meeting in Ibadan said the emergence of the party’s Presidential candidate Asiwaju Tinubu would reset the country from the myriads of challenges presently confronting Nigeria.
The APC governorship candidate emphasized that Nigeria as a country needs a bold and courageous leader like Asiwaju Tinubu for the country to get it right socio-politically in the 2023 general elections .
Senator Folarin maintained that the prevailing economic situation in the country under the APC-led federal government blamed it on what he referred to as global challenge
“We admit that there is hardship in the land but it is a global challenge. But we are convinced that when Asiwaju gets there, he will address this challenge and other issues besetting Nigeria”, he said.
Senator Folarin added, ” COVID-19 has affected Nigeria economy. What I think we are not doing well is that we are not communicating effectively to the masses on the impact of COVID-19 on the global economy.”
“That is why we are excited about Asiwaju Tinubu candidacy. He knows Nigeria very well and the challenges of the country and what to do to address the challenges.
Tinubu knows that for this country to stay together, we need to restructure. We need a bold and courageous leader like Ashiwaju Tinubu.”
“We have to restructure this country. Items on the Exclusive Legislative list need to be looked into . We must allow the state to progress at their own level. Without restructuring, it will be difficult to achieve anything, even at the state level.”
On APC in Oyo state, Senator Folarin said politicians of influence are already back in the party to strengthen the party’s chances and as well ensure its success in the forthcoming general elections .
Speaking on some of his plans for the state if elected as governor Senator Folarin said APC administration under his leadership as the governor will strengthen the judicial system and create a level-playing field for all, especially the women in the state.
