Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Murtala Sule Garo combination has been described as the best option for Kano State, especially when the two leaders are tested and trusted by the people of the state.
This was expressed by Hajiya Zainab Ali Musa, National Public Relations Officer of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), in an interview with our correspondent in Kano, adding that the combination of Gawuna/Garo as governor and deputy is a blessing to Kano State.
“Gawuna is a good person whose ideologies are bound to develop Kano State, bearing in mind how his political journey is becoming more beneficial to the people since his times as local government administrator, which is a great evidence to a real democrat,” she added.
Hajiya Zainab Ali Musa announced that Kano women would vote for Gawuna under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform and disclosed that plans have been concluded to commence door-to-door campaigns for Gawuna/Garo in order to ensure victory across the 44 local government areas respectively.
