A non partisan group, Face to Face has vowed to ensure that power that has remained in Chikun for the past 20 years, is transferred to Kajuru for the member Representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2023.

President Face to Face, Comrade Bulus Micah Usman expressed this  in his welcome address at a discussion, held in Kaduna on Sunday October 30, 2022.

“Most of the experience we have with Rt. Honourable Umar Barde is failure, lack of team work, lack of regular consultation, there is need for us to come together to make a change,” he said.

He added, “It  is true that our Reps for 20 years, No Shaking,  lacks respect for his people. He is taking our resources and turning into his personal wealth, we call on all to work with us to increase our security, health and well being,” he said.

According to him, “What  are we going to do to is bring back the glory of our land. We are calling on everyone to come to make it a success. We are calling to join hands and get the right person to lead us, not someone in love with our money, but in love with humanity.

“We are telling people of Chikun/Kajuru that enough is enough,” he declared.

According to him,  the group is a non partisan movement targeted at facilitating good governance.

He said the group is registered with the state government and operating withing the 10 LGAs of Southern Kaduna.

He explained that the group is also fighting bad governance in its constituency and ensuring power shift.

At the discussion, Barrister Yahaya Washiri  of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Cafra Caino  of the All Progressives Congress (APC) both candidates  for House of Reps Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in 2023, briefed the audience on their plans if elected.
