Twelve Sharon cars and four tractors have been given to various support groups in Wase Federal Constituency by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Ahmed Maje as an appreciation and motivation to intensity campaigns for 2023 election.
The Deputy Speaker who was represented by one of his senior legislative assistants, Yusuf Usman Muhammad, said the support given to him by the youth will bring more dividends of democracy to the constituency.
He advised the beneficiaries of the programme to use the items judiciously for the campaign of 2023 election and to ensure his re-election.
According to him, “the role played by his principal at the national affairs of the country calls for more support from the constituents in 2023”.
The event aimed at empowering the youth in the constituency was showcased to show their appreciation for numerous projects initiated by the lawmaker in the constituency.
Alhaji Aliyu Madaki, a youth leader for “Maje Vanguard” explained that the people are saying a big thank you to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives for attracting projects initiated to provide the people with dividends of democracy
Speaking to newsmen shortly after, the Special Assistant on Special Duties said the massive support given to the Deputy Speaker is encouraging and appealed to them to remain calm and be patient, as “more support will be coming their way shortly.”
He also called on the youth in the constituency to come out and support the Deputy Speaker in the 2033 election as more dividends of democracy will be provided.
