Kaduna Central Senatorial Candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Usman Ibrahim, known as Sardaunan Badarawa has assured electorates of a better deal if elected in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
He gave the assurance in Igabi in his tour of seven local government areas that make up Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone to appreciate party and opinion leaders for their role in his victory at rerun primary election held on November 7, 2022.
The local government areas are; Kaduna South, Kaduna North, Igabi, Giwa, Birnin-Gwari, Kajuru and Chikun.
The Senatorial hopeful said he would be rolling out his campaign promises and strategic blueprints which he assured would be people-based and quickest way to impact positively on their lives.
” I am here today to thank you for prevailing on the delegates who wholeheartedly voted me at the just concluded primary re-run of our party and above all, to consult with you with the aim of getting your advice and inputs on how we can achieve our goals of winning next year’s election and working for the people.
” It is a mark of respect and honour to you as stakeholders in this project to get your wise and invaluable counsels before we even embark on our campaign tour for the forthcoming general election.
” It is high time We voted PDP back to power and I am giving you my word that you won’t regret your decision of putting your trust in me as your Senatorial Candidate and more importantly, I am by this visit soliciting your collective support to take this project beyond party line until majority of our people believe and see it as their own.
” We must be awake to our responsibilities of ensuring a better and brighter future for our generation which is in dire need of a responsive and responsible representation at the Senate.
” I want to be remembered as an individual with the interest of his people at heart who will go to any length to secure dividends of democracy for them and ensure progress and development are brought to your doorsteps.
“I want to use this opportunity once again to thank the leadership of our great party PDP from the National, State, Zonal, Local Government to Ward levels for their understanding and support in making sure that the right thing are done”, he said.
