2023: Don’t Betray Me, Matawalle Urges Zamfara People

Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has appealed to the people of the state not to betray him during the upcoming general elections and give the second mandate for continuity of developmental projects for the betterment of the state.

The governor, who is contesting for the seat of the state governor for his second term  under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the next election, made the call during the ongoing electioneering campaign rally in Burdugau town the headquarters of, Bungudu Local Government Area on Thursday.

Matawalle assured that he will bring positive and meaningful change if he is re- elected for a second term as the governor of the state.

 “I am calling on the people of Zamfara State, especially the voters, not to betray us in the next election in order to enable the state to have a sustainable government that could provide infrastructure development for them”.

He called on the people of the state, especially the voters, to avoid any kind of vote buying from some corrupt political parties, who will change their opinion during election and ensure that they vote for him to save the state from collapsing, especially the insecurity  problem.

Similarly, Matawalle expressed his happiness at the way his supporters came out in mass to show their support for him in Bungudu Local Government Area during his election campaign.

He promised to continue providing developmental projects and good governance for the people of the state, especially the people of rural  areas across of the state, if given the mandate for the second term in the upcoming election.
