Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Labour Party Kaduna State Gubernatorial Candidate, Honourable Jonathan Asake has appointed a seasoned media personality, James Swam as his Media Assistant.
This was contained in a statement made available to our correspondent on Wednesday August 17, 2022, personally signed by Honourable Asake.
“Gentlemen of the Press, you are already aware of my emergence as Kaduna State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party and my running mate, Right Hon. Bashir Aliyu Zango Aya at the recent substitution primaries that took place on the 9th August, 2022.
“I wish to hereby announce that I have appointed Mr James Swam as my Media Assistant,” the statement said.
It informed that Mr James Swam is coming to join him with a rich background in media practice.
“He was Secretary of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Kaduna State chapter. James was also the Press Secretary to former Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Mr Nuhu Bajoga.
“He is also a member of Advertising Practioners of Nigeria (APCON).
“His appointment is with immediate effect,” the statement said.
