The leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in foreign countries under the umbrella of APC Diaspora Global Leaders have resolved to do everything within the law to ensure the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general election.

According to the statement made available to the press after the group’s convergence to rally support for the APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on an auspicious occasion by the Publicity Secretary, Engr. Sanni David,  they have vowed not to leave any stone untouched until the victory is achieved.

According to Engr. Sanni, the end-of-year conference hosted on 29th December 2022 is one of the largest gatherings of Nigerians in the Diaspora in attendance with unity of purpose.

“The virtual conference which played host to Prince Ade Omole the Director of the Diaspora Directorate and his team of Excos attracted Nigerians in Diaspora from different walks of life with highly successful professionals from more than 20 countries attended the meeting”

“The conference was robust and full of positive energy with the willingness by Nigerians in Diaspora to drive the realization of Tinubu/Shettima ticket come 2023”.

Engr Sanni David adjudged Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as one of our own as an extension of Nigerians in the Diaspora who has conquered the sojourn of travelling for a greener pasture and relocated back home to contribute in no small measures to the growth and development of the country. That is the kind of man we want who has seen it all. He knows our pains and knows our strengths. Asiwaju is a perfect recruiter of talents, detribalized and embodiment of practical economic transformation policies.

“Nigerians in Diaspora urge the government to create a full-fledged Ministry for Nigerians in Diaspora as their continued contributions and relevance have been underscored and not properly captured”.

Present at the event was the Director of the Diaspora Directorate of the PCC, Prince Ade Omole who on behalf of the Presidential candidate posited that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a great believer of Nigerians in the Diaspora and for that singular reason, history will be made when he is elected to be the one to bring to fruition the age-long clamour for Diaspora Voting.

Omole used the opportunity to thank groups and members who have made material donations to support the Diaspora Directorate urging them not to relent. APC Chapters in South Africa, Canada and USA were the first set to make donations.

While calling on Nigerians in Diaspora who will be coming home to vote, Omole advised that they should ensure that they arrive early to avoid being caught in the web of the National shutdown and restrictions on travel, particularly for those who need more time to transit from Abuja or Lagos to their various states to vote.

The Global Chairman of APC Diaspora Leaders Engr. Olabode Jones Ajimijere resident in Russia urged members to ignore the malicious and much other propaganda targeted at Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He charged members not to be allowed by detractors to lose focus. He said that the power lies on actual voters, not social media charlatans.

Many of the participants are confident about the Party’s victory at the polls, some of them even displayed their PVC amongst them was Engr Bola Babarinde the Chairman of APC South Africa Chapter who is already in Nigeria to galvanise support for the party.

Dr Nicholas Felix who was the youngest Presidential aspirant during the APC primaries was also present at the conference and pledged his support for Asiwaju and commended Prince Ade Omole for his unflinching support.

Dr Anyiam said that Asiwaju is the only one amongst the three major contenders who have been very consistent in his political journey.

He added that that it is a reflection of a principled man with steadiness of character, unlike the other candidates who are snollygosters and flibbertigibbet.

The APC Diaspora Global Leaders end-of-year conference ended with great excitement and hoping to reconvene in early January 2023 when we shall be meeting with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. “We want to use this medium to wish Nigerians at home a Merry Christmas and a manifestation of a Renewed Hope in 2023 savoured with prosperity”.
