New Nigeria People’s Party’s (NNPP),  House of Reps Candidate in 2023 general election, Hon. Shehu Bawa ABG has kick-started campaign tour of Kaduna North Federal Constituency with a declaration to stand out at the Green Chamber in representation and oversight duties  if elected in February next Year.

ABG commenced the campaign rally after commissioning  NNPP’s Kaduna North Office located at  Ungwar Rimi Area in the heart of the state capital amidst cheers from supporters, chanting solidarity songs of the party.

The House of Reps hopeful emboldened by a surging crowd, moved in convoy of vehicles sandwiched in-between youth in buses and motorcycles who formed protective barricades around the Lincoln Escalate Jeep in which the politician was being chauffeured-driven.

From Malali to Kabala Costain, through the popular Constitution Road en-route the  Ahmadu Bello Stadium and eventually connecting through the metropolitan area of the city via Ahmadu Bello Way to Tudun Wada, it was a mammoth crowd of youth and women who thronged the roadside to catch a glimpse of the politician in his new party regalia of NNPP.

He was accompanied in the tour by the party’s state assembly candidates the duo of Aliyu Haruna and Mabo of Kawo and Doka Constituencies respectively.

Also in the campaign train was Rufa’i Chanchangi, NNPP’s Kaduna South flag bearer in the forthcoming general franchise of 2023.

ABG, assured members of Kaduna North Federal Constituency of effective, robust and outstanding representation if elected into Lower House of the Second Arm of the Nigerian Government.

While reiterating the resolve of his party to prioritize welfare of the masses, the former federal legislator expressed optimism in the ability of NNPP to win the next general election with a landslide, considering what he described as a general disenchantment against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the now opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

He accused the two parties of failure to meet the least expectations of the electorate and fulfill an atom of the promises they made to Nigerians, saying voters can trust NNPP due to the party’s grassroots appeal and popularity among the non-elite members of the society.

” You could attest the huge crowd that came out to give us tumultuous and rousing reception at every point of our campaign movement.

” It was initially meant to be a commissioning event of our LG office in Kaduna North but the huge turnout emboldened us to move deeper into inner cities with our supporters.

” I can tell you that in a scale of one to ten , We could be graded eight and half in terms of general acceptability within the circle of eligible voters.

” We count on the unequalled pedigree of our various candidates, starting with our presidential flag bearer and National leader, His Excellency Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso who has shown by words and action what exemplary leadership is all about in our contemporary democracy.

” We shall endeavour to remain resolute and consistent in our resolve to deliver dividends of democracy to the masses when we formed government from head to bottom”, he assured.

In his remarks, Aliyu Haruna, popularly known as Chakis, said NNPP would not fail the electorate, urging voters in the State and beyond not to repeat the mistakes of the past by voting same parties and politicians whom he noted plunged the country into her present predicament of lack of direction and effective leadership.
