The 2022 Kaduna Golf Club Ladies Tournament billed to begin January 28, is expected to feature not less than 250 golfers from across the world.
Lady Captain of the club, Miss Vera David disclosed this, while briefing sports writers at the club’s premises on Friday January 21.
“It is open to ladies from all over the country.
“It will last three days from 28 to 30 January and we are expecting not less than 250 golfers,” she said.
She explained that the tournament will be rounded up with dinner and presentation of prizes to winners.
“Prizes include golf items and trophies. We have prizes for several categories, veterans, ladies, men,” she said.
According to her, the championship is all about bringing ladies together to play golf to make changes in society.
On sponsorship, she said that they have individuals and corporate organisations who are supporting.
“It’s just amateurs. We expect people from all over, ladies and men to participate,” she stressed.
Also speaking, Professional Joseph Zola Gabriel said that the tournament is one in which they expect everyone around west Africa to come and play.
