10th National Assembly: Make laws Beneficial To Nigerians –  ACF

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), has enjoined the newly inaugurated 10th National Assembly to make laws that will benefit all Nigerians.

Architecf Gabriel Yakubu Aduku, the newly elected chairman of the forum, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, stated that there were high expectations from Nigerians on the lawmakers.

He urged them to work hard in synergy with the executive to end the socio-economic, security and other challenges bedevilling the nation presently with a view to finding a lasting solution.

 He stated that Nigerians were full of expectations from the 10th Assembly for better living conditions, stressing that democracy had been entrenched in Nigeria by the very act of the inauguration,

The ACF chairman said, “I congratulate the National Assembly and Nigerians at large on the success of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly.”

He explained that Nigerians may not have gotten where they ought to be in terms of all indexes for measuring societal development, regretting that Nigerians are not where they used to be in terms of refining the laws that further push them closer towards the democratic traits by which advanced democracies are known.
