Benue State cannot get justice for invasion if its communities by President Muhammadu Buhari in view of sentiments being brazenly displayed by the Commander-in-Chief.

Member of House Of Representatives, Honourable Emmanuel Orkey-Jev (APC) expressed this sentiment, while speaking on TVC News Breakfast show on Thursday.
He said the President lacked political will to completely check the herders.
The lawmaker said that statements issued by the President are not enough because  they are not proving useful.
Speaking through Skype from Abuja, Orkey-Jev said that it was unfortunate that some lawmakers who have failed to act because the security concerns are not presently affecting their areas are not acting in fairness.
He however, said that there is concern in the National Assembly on such security concerns as over 20 resolutions have been raised.
Also speaking, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom, Terver Akase said that the attacks may have been inspired by Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN), who had vowed to ensure that Benue State’s Anti-grazing Law was not implemented.
He said the group vowed to mobilise its members across the country to show displeasure against the law.
Akase wondered why  security agencies have failed to arrest the rampaging killer herdsmen.
On the protests against the killings in Guma in Makurdi on Wednesday that turned violent, he said the anger was against the Federal Government, not targeted at Governor Ortom.
He however, assured that the traditional rulers have vowed to ensure peace in their domains.
“The Tor Tiv  and Ochi’Idoma have given their words that they would go back to their people through traditional councils which they head to ensure all communities remain peaceful,” he said.
