Bauchi CCT Beneficiaries To Gulp N1.31 Billion By 2019

Beneficiaries of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programme component of Federal Government’s Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) are by projection expected to receive a woofing sum of N1.31 billion by 2019.
 
Special Assistant to the state Governor on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) , Mansur Manu Soro said the federal government has already in past eight months paid the sum of N432 million to 10, 800 CCT beneficiaries in the state.
 
Alhaji Mansur Manu Soro was speaking weekend during the opening of the National Cash Transfer training on Savings and Group Mobilization in Bauchi.
 
The training was declared open by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Liman Bello who reiterated the Bauchi state government’s commitment to the successful implementation ‎of all federal government’s Social Investment Programmes (SIPs) in the state.
 
Alhaji Liman Bello called on the participants to pay attention and benefit from the programme and ensure the realization of the programme’s core objectives.
 
Also speaking at the occasion, National coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer‎ programme (CCT), Mrs. Temitope Sinkaiye commended the Bauchi state government for its commitment and performance in the federal government’s Social Investment Programmes, especially the Conditional Cash Transfer programme.
 
Mrs. Temitope Sinkaiye said, “We at National Cash Transfer Office express our deepest appreciation to Governor Mohammed Abubakar. He loves the poor and vulnerable”.
