Simple Specialist Hospital Shika has organized a one-day free medical services outreach targeting about 300 people at Unguwan Katsinawa, Shika in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The outreach was part of their corporate social services to humanity as well as to help the less privileged in the society.
Speaking on the outreach, the Hospital Manager, Comrade Yusuf Danlami Haruna said it is the first the hospital is organizing.
He said more outreach programmes are coming and the next programme is for surgery to be conducted at Giwa .
According to him, before the year 2022 ends, three outreaches will be conducted which people from neighbouring communities will benefit from.
During the programme, many people attended with different sickness and they were screened. Those with minor sicknesses were given medicine while patients with complicated issues were referred to general hospital for proper handling.
Some of the beneficiaries of the medical outreach have expressed appreciation to the management of the Simple Specialist Hospital for the kind gesture done to them at this hard times.
They called on other well to do in the society to emulate Simple Specialist Hospital in assisting the needy.
