Zeepro International Limited recently donated some sports equipment worth thousands of naira to the Nigeria Modern Pentathlon Federation.
The equipment which includes 2 guns, water dispenser, micro wave oven, Olympic table and chairs and other office equipment were made possible by the Chairman/CEO of Zeepro International Limited, Zephrynus Ikeh, an international business man.
Making the donations at the board room of Nigeria Olympic Committee, the donor stated that it was part of his own little way of contributing to sports development in the country more so when it has to do with modern pentathlon Federation Sport.
Saying modern Pentathlon is an Olympic event that is four-in-one sport and is also new in Nigeria hence the need to support the growth, he stressed.
“This is an entirely new Olympic Sport in Nigeria and all of us must support it to grow. That is actually what motivated me to donate these equipments”.
He called on well meaning individuals to come to the aid of the sport by contributing to its development.
But for the Federation, Chief Jonathan Nnaji said “we are indeed grateful to your kind gesture promising to use it to the development of the game”.
